White List is available for USB devices and media only.
As your issue is to deal with FireWire device, you now cannot permit its usage through this way. FireWire devices whitelist will be available in future versions of DeviceLock(later than 6.4) |

Until there is a FireWire device whitelist,
1) In Security Settings, enable access control for FireWire Storage Devices. This will generically block these for all except those users/groups in FireWire port Permission List. 2) Only include special group or users that need this access in FireWire port Permission List (Remove EVERYONE...SYSTEM is ok as well as probably Domain Admins) |
