I am doing the 30 day trial for the Device Lock software and using it thru a Group Policy. Under Device then Permissions, I see Removable which is obviously for removable drives. Does this include USB hard drives? I see a Hard Disk option and I am curious if that setting is a local hard drive (which would be awesome to set it to read only) or if this is for USB hard drives.
Second, would this software set the policy as a local policy? (pushed thru a GPO) So if we have a few laptop users that take their laptop off the network each night and we'd like the policy of blocking USB keys and setting the CD to read only to still be in place.
